From Lake House to Loot House

I was gone for two weeks in wonderful isolation with my family. No internet. Only occasional cell phone reception. We were on a private lake chill'n in Adirondack chairs in the Adirondacks.

Lotsa sun, swimming, sleep, fishing, reading, kayaking, and eating.

So, I get back home and don't login immediately. Hell. I logged in only after a full 24 hours after I got home. Crazy, I know.

Anyway, I got on real late and ran a bunch of pugs. I hadn't done the new 5man heroic before. It was "scary easy". What was also scary was how good the drops were for a hunter. I almost wish I hadn't spent months in Ulduar. I swept up a chest piece, a shoulder piece, and the gun. Yes, I have better, but there wasn't anyone else in the group that could use them and the armor pen may be good. And yes, this was in one run.

So then I ran a few more heroic pugs. It was like taking a stroll down memory lane. It felt like ages since I had done these things. And yeah, of course I was doing almost 50% of the damage in these pugs. (/sigh.) Then I visit the Emblem of Triumph vendor and see all the hunter stuff I can get for running the daily heroic and the trial of the crusader instance. Hmmph.

My thoughts on Cataclysm changes in tomorrow's post.
